The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Culture are pleased to announce that Brazil has been chosen as the honored country at the 2025 edition of the “Marché du Film,” the world’s leading film industry marketplace, held as part of the Cannes Film Festival in France.
The tribute will take place from May 13 to 21, 2025, and will highlight the vitality of Brazil’s audiovisual industry, the creativity of its talent, and its commitment to international cooperation.
Brazil’s participation will be organized jointly by the Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and will include filmmakers, producers, and representatives of the Brazilian audiovisual industry. It will provide an opportunity to establish partnerships and promote Brazilian cinema on the global stage.
Brazil’s presence at the “Marché du Film” is part of the 2025 Brazil–France Cultural Season, which will include a series of cultural and academic events in both countries, aimed at strengthening ties between the two nations and their societies.
